Upturn Industires, Inc. was founded in 1983 and developed into a precision CNC contract machine shop. When first opened there were 3 employees; the 2 owners Sherwood (Skip) Enck, Donna L. Enck and a machinist. Sherwood Enck was a Manufacturing Engineer, retired from the Bendix Corporation in Sidney, NY. With his 20+ years of experience in the Aerospace Industry and Donna's years of experience in the administrative and accounting fields, Quality Standards were established that are second to none and are still enforced today.Now, over 20 years later, Upturn Indistries has grown to over 40 employees and in 2001 moved into their new, state-of-the-art plant in Bainbridge, NY.After Sherwood retired in 2001, Donna L. Enck became sole owner of Upturn Industries, Inc. and continues the tradition of excellence.
